In addition to surfing, you and your family can enjoy the wide sandy beaches right outside your door. There are dozens of restaurants along the beach to enjoy the famous seafood of Peru (particularly the ceviche, a dish of fish marinated in acidic lemon juice and seasoned with onions, herbs and sweet potatoes). For the family your apartment is only 700 meters from the nearby Club el Bosque, which has multiple swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts, gym, restaurants, etc. for its members.
Only 15 kms to the north are the famous pre-Inca ruins in Pachacamac. The site was first established around 200 a.d. and was named after the god of the "creator of the earth" Pacha Kamaq. The site flourished as an important cultural center for about 1,300 years until the arrival of the Spaniards.
